Wastewater


Watts Bar Utility District currently provides wastewater service for the following:


Rhea County

• Lake Front Estates Subdivision

Meigs County

• Espalier Bay and from there along 304 South to the City of Decatur Connection (Eaves Ferry Rd)
• Georgia Point Subdivision
• Lakeside Coves Subdivision

Roane County

• Garlington Pointe Subdivision
• Highland Reserve Subdivision
• The Cove at Blackberry Ridge
• Buttermilk Rd/Industrial Park (RRBTP)
• Paint Rock Ferry Road - (Long Island Marina to Lakeside Drive)

Loudon County

• The Cove at Blackberry Ridge Subdivision and from there along Huffine Rd (Roane County) and Marble Bluff Rd (Loudon County) to Highway 72 in Loudon County.

Currently, Watts Bar Utility District has 180 (plus) active customers in these counties.

Watts Bar Utility District installs Septic Tank Effluent Pump or STEP systems. The STEP system is installed, owned and maintained by WBUD, this includes the concrete tank, service line from the tank to the street or tap, the control panel, pump vault and pump. Below is an example of a STEP system installed. WBUD's tank is two (2) compartment and has three (3) twenty-four (24) inch riser access with lids.
